Learning Support Assistant | Coventry CV4 | £95 - £105 | Long Term to Permanent | Immediate Start We are looking for a committed and empathetic Learning Support Assistant to work with students facing complex challenges and learning difficulties, including Autism, physical disabilities, and multiple learning needs. This role plays a vital part in creating an inclusive environment where students can excel both academically and personally. Key Responsibilities Deliver personalised support to promote students' academic, social, and emotional development. Assist with daily activities, ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere for all learners. Work closely with teachers and support staff to implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs). Manage challenging behaviours effectively using positive reinforcement techniques. Foster student independence and self-advocacy through skill-development activities.Candidate Requirements Previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs, ideally within an educational setting. A genuine enthusiasm for supporting young people and a dedication to their growth and development. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, colleagues, and families effectively. A proactive attitude to problem-solving and adapting to meet the diverse needs of students. Up-to-date safeguarding training is highly advantageous.To Be Eligible for This Role You Must: Have the legal right to work in the UK.
