In this role, youll work towards your Level 3 Data Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job: Support the wider Planning & Materials Team with reporting functions.
Confidently use JDE (JD Edwards) systems to support implementation of plans in Moulding, Battery, Build Ahead, and Spares areas.
Coordinate production operations in line with material, labour, and equipment availability.
Work with the wider team to implement improvement processes within the JDE environment.
Monitor production progress and ensure final products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
Identify business risks and create reports to highlight areas for improvement.
Drive business efficiency by increasing automation through accurate reporting and analysis.
Create forecasting models to support business decisions.
Merge data from multiple sources to generate comprehensive insights.
Use Oracle (JD Edwards) and Microsoft Excel to collect and extract data.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
? Desired Qualities, Skills, and Knowledge:
5 GCSEs graded 4/ C or above, including Maths and English (desirable).
A proactive What can I do? attitude.
Good communication skills.
Strong IT literacy, especially Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Salary, Hours & Benefits: Salary: £14,526.20 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
Monday Thursday (8:30am 4:45pm)
Friday (8:30am 3:00pm)

This apprenticeship will teach you essential data skills, including how to source, format, and present data; data validation and analysis; and how to apply legal and ethical principles when gathering and manipulating business data.
