Purpose of the Role
Key Responsibilities:
1. Developing and implementing HR processes, policies, strategies, and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
2. Ensure HR policies, processes, and compliance are in place.
3. Work on HR process improvements and implementation of new HR policies and processes.
4. Provide reports on all areas of HR, Payroll, and Learning and Development, including the application of Employment Law, HR policy, best practices, and workforce development.
5. Advise and strategize on the development of effective employment policies across the company.
6. Provide professional leadership, support, and development to HR staff, in order to increase knowledge, share best practices, and ensure that relevant professional standards are met.
7. Ensure that the company complies with current regulations, accepted professional standards, policies and procedures, and legislation (including legislation on data protection, the Equality Act, and health and safety).
8. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
9. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
10. Support functional leadership and departments with skilled resources in delivering their business responsibilities.
11. Ensure that the recruitment processes run efficiently and effectively.
12. Ensure business and departments are supported by enough resources.
13. Support current and future business needs through development, engagement, and motivation programs.
14. Implement new employee engagement structures including talent acquisition, employee recognition, learning and development, pulse surveys, and communication channels to improve the employee experience.
15. Ensure JDs, KPIs, and targets are defined and updated as per business plans for all staff.
16. Manage the office administration support to staff.
17. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
