Your new role
As a LEAN Manufacturing Engineer, you will be at the heart of optimising manufacturing processes specifically for hot water systems. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Analysing manufacturing processes to pinpoint areas ripe for improvement
* Implementing lean manufacturing techniques to streamline production and boost efficiency
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise product flow and reduce lead times
* Conducting time studies and rolling out improvements to increase throughput
* Providing training to employees on lean principles and practices
* Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and Kaizen events
* Liaising closely with Design Engineers to ensure seamless integration of new developments into the manufacturing process
* Leading the charge on new developments in the process, driving innovation and excellence
What you'll need to succeed
* A bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
* Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong grasp of lean manufacturing principles
* Experience working within a hot water system or steel fabrication environment would be highly regarded
* Excellent project management, data analysis, and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and leadership abilities
* The ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team
