We have a new opportunity to be part of our Facilities team in the role of EHSS, Events and Soft Services Engineer.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure all permanent EHSS, Soft Services and Events assets are safe to operate, efficient and meet all relevant legislation.
2. Ensure all temporary and event set-up EHSS, Soft Services and Events assets are safe to operate, efficient and meet all relevant legislation.
3. Update the asset care register to ensure all details are logged once work is completed.
4. Continually improve equipment availability and reliability.
5. Work to the TPM and PPM schedules.
6. Manage critical spares inventory.
7. Keep the facility, including event areas, tidy and repair/make any alterations as required.
8. Respond to breakdowns and fault diagnosis – get kit back online. Use root cause analysis to correct and prevent future failure.
9. Ensure TPM and PPM systems are correct and up to date.
10. Carry out planned scheduled maintenance and servicing.
11. Develop and identify key spare parts inventory to help reduce machine downtime.
12. Manage spares and service budgets.
13. Work as a team member where roles cross over on certain jobs.
14. Work alone or as part of a team being proactive, work responsibly, and professionally always and to respect and comply with the company’s reporting structure.
15. Any other duties as reasonably requested aligned to your job role.
Skills & Knowledge Required:
1. Possess an excellent working knowledge of Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems.
2. Highly organised and analytic.
3. Knowledge of workshop health safety and environmental controls.
4. Ability to read machine OEM manuals and technical documents and interpret into usable systems.
5. Previous experience as maintenance engineer or similar.
6. To be a collaborative team player who is self-motivated and to motivate others to thrive in a challenging environment.
7. Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve tight targets and deliver results within required timescales.
8. To communicate effectively, positively, and respectfully with all colleagues.
9. To have a flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environment – collaborative approach.
10. Be results-oriented and be confident in your decision-making skills.
11. Be enthusiastic and versatile and be able to build, develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues.
