Look no further An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and innovative Band 6 Specialist Speech and Language Therapist in our Paediatric team. You will assess, treat and independently manage a specialist caseload with an interesting variety of school aged children including those with additional needs. You will work with school staff, parents and a range of professional groups across a variety of settings e.g. mainstream schools, Special Schools and ALN Resources. Experience of working with children with complex needs would be welcomed. Main duties of the job We are a highly motivated, friendly team of Speech and Language Therapists and experienced Technical Instructors who work hard to continually improve our services. To compliment this, the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a desire to participate in service development initiatives. You will be welcomed into both the Mainstream and ALN teams, as well as the wider paediatric team working across Flintshire and Wrexham localities. The department offers a wide range of opportunities for CPD and is committed to providing excellent levels of support and clinical supervision including supervision sessions and in service training days.
