Press Operator - Inverness

One of our well established clients near Inverness is looking to recruit a Production Press Operative for their Inverness Plant.
Reporting to the Shift Manager, candidates should be qualified to Higher Education level or have suitable relevant experience in a continuous operating environment. We invite applications from manufacturing or production backgrounds.
Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain all plant and machinery to expected standards in accordance with Health and Safety policy of the company.
* Maintain adequate records in conjunction with the Quality Assurance manual as required.
* Monitor and control working area and carry out any maintenance and checks as required.
* Monitor operating parameters of equipment and maintain an accurate log of abnormalities, reporting deviations/process interruptions to relevant personnel.
* Monitor and control fire-fighting equipment in conjunction with fire team leader.
* Ensure Planned Maintenance is carried out as per manufacturer recommendations.
* Communicate effectively with other Departments.
* Assist in coordinating and developing hazard identification, risk assessment, and creation of Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) for all tasks.
* Ensure that operational EHS procedures are followed and all EHS incidents are reported.
* Carry out Risk Assessments for all tasks required.
* Comply with all company policies and procedures.
* Assess and evaluate risk, contributing fully in monitoring, quality assurance, and communicating risk assessments at operational level.
Please note - this role has alternating day shifts and night shifts.
