Our client, based in Bridge of Don, are looking for Storesperson, for a full time permanent role. This will be an entry level position, and will be the perfect opportunity for the right candidate as there will be a great opportunity for progression.
The Storeperson will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving and dispatching goods, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work independently, and possess excellent organizational skills.
Duties many include:
Receive incoming goods, check for damages and discrepancies between the delivery note and goods received.
Ensure all goods are stored in appropriate locations within the warehouse or store.
Maintain accurate records of goods received and dispatched.
Pick and pack goods for dispatch according to orders received.
Ensure all outgoing shipments are accurately packed, labeled, and accompanied by the necessary paperwork.
Assist with inventory control and stock take activities.
Keep the warehouse or store clean and organized at all times.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
Report any discrepancies or issues to management promptly.
