Here is your opportunity to start a career in support work. No prior experience in care or support roles is required, as we provide full induction, specialist training, and coaching. Experienced carers and support workers from other care settings are also welcome, allowing you to leverage transferable skills.
Working in brain injury support differs from other types of support work. You will encourage and guide individuals, helping them develop skills and confidence for independent living. You will share their journey as they overcome hurdles, achieve milestones, and reach personal goals.
Why join us?
Brainkind is a charity dedicated to improving the lives of people with brain injuries in the UK. Our centres, rehabilitation units, and hospitals employ expert neurorehabilitation to support recovery and personal goal achievement. We treat a range of brain injuries caused by trauma, illness, substance abuse, and more.
Our employees are passionate and work in a team-oriented environment, supporting each other. The role involves supporting service users to live their desired lifestyles and promoting independence through varied activities both at the service and in the local community.
The Role
Our goal is to support service users in living fulfilling lives by focusing on their individual goals and aspirations. We seek a person committed to delivering quality, person-centered support.
