Management Accountant
Location: Manchester City Centre
Salary: Up to £45,000 (Dependent on experience)
Hybrid working: Up to three days at home

As the Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance team while contributing to the company's mission of creating a more sustainable future. Responsibilities:
1. Lead month-end reconciliations, prepare journal entries, and manage the preparation of management accounts.
2. Provide insightful financial commentary, collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure data accuracy.
3. Oversee purchase ledger operations, working with an outsourced team to manage payment runs, staff expenses, and supplier invoices.
4. Prepare weekly cashflow forecasts and provide vital financial updates to the business.
5. Drive efficiency by streamlining finance systems and workflows, using technology to enhance operational effectiveness.
6. Oversee payroll and weekly driver billing, ensuring accurate processing and managing payroll-related queries.
7. Engage in finance projects, collaborating with key stakeholders to align financial strategies with broader company goals.
About you:
1. Strong Excel skills are essential.
2. ACCA/CIMA part-qualified.
3. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
