An exciting opportunity has arisen in a small, non-denominational rural school situated in the hamlet of Ruthvenfield, two miles west of Perth. Applications are invited for the post of Head Teacher at Ruthvenfield Primary School. The Head Teacher will provide vision and direction in order to ensure high standards of education and leadership of learning. We are seeking someone who can lead our school community, develop learning and teaching and ensure that all pupils achieve their full potential. You should have experience of leading aspects of improvement across a school. You should be able to talk about your leadership skills and the impact the improvement activity has had on outcomes for learners. You should have experience of leading a team. This could include leading a working group or staff team to drive improvement. Ideally, you will also have experience in a leadership post. This could include a Middle Leader, Central Officer or Head Teacher post. This is an exciting opportunity to lead one of our small rural schools, to support the school community to demonstrate their school This post will include a teaching commitment for part of the week but at PKC, we will ensure you have a support network in place. If you have not gained this qualification, appointment can only be made on a fixed term basis for maximum period of 30 months.
