Role: Registered Veterinary Nurse
Location: Severn Edge Vets Bridgnorth Hospital (shifts may be required at other branches as required)
Salary: Up to £30k FTE DOE + Benefits
Hours: 38.57 hours per week, 1 in 7 Saturday mornings
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our fantastic practice at Severn Edge Bridgnorth Hospital!
We are looking for an enthusiastic nurse with good communication skills, a genuine dedication to animal care and lots of initiative. We are a warm, friendly and supportive team made up of qualified nurses, student nurses, and patient care assistants as well as several certificate holders. We have a caring, sympathetic, and professional approach working closely with our patients and clients, which is reflected in all that we do. This is a rewarding role and you will work closely with our Veterinary Surgeons to assist them with examinations, treatments, procedures, and the overall smooth running of the practice.
In this role you will be assisting the veterinary surgeons with surgeries and day-to-day requirements, performing routine nurse clinics, creating a bond with our regular clients and patients, actively promoting the products and services of the practice, providing a polite and efficient service at all times, ensuring H&S requirements are met with the support of your Practice Manager, and working as part of the team to provide excellent care.
Our ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, a team player, self-motivated with a positive attitude, and confident in all areas of general small animal nursing with at least one year of experience.
This is a full-time role of 38.57 hours per week, with a requirement to work 1 in 7 Saturdays.
