Claims Handler
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Claims Handler to join our team in Birmingham. This role is focused on delivering exceptional claims service to our clients.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of handling all classes of commercial claims, ensuring professional and timely resolution.
Salary:
£45,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
Job Description:
This role requires the ability to handle complex claims with minimal supervision, utilising strong analytical and communication skills to resolve disputes efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle incoming claims from policyholders and third parties
* Investigate and assess claims, gathering necessary information and evidence
* Communicate effectively with policyholders, agents, and other stakeholders
* Make decisions on claim settlement within delegated authority limits
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in commercial insurance claims handling
* Strong knowledge of UK insurance law and regulations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
