Technical Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Sales Support Engineer required to join a leading engineering supplier of Hydraulic Engineering products and services.
The successful candidate will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts for Hydraulic / MRO products such as hoses, fittings, valves, pumps, cylinders, power packs, and similar Hydraulic related products.
Ideally, the candidate will have experience selling or managing key accounts of products related to Fluid power / Hydraulics. Full product training will be provided.

Role Responsibilities
1. Develop new business opportunities and manage key accounts across hoses, fittings, valves, pumps, cylinders, power packs, and similar Hydraulic related products.
2. Maintain fluid power / Hydraulic product sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
3. Support the field service team by providing technical support as well as hands-on support.
4. Work remotely/field-based with regular visits to customer sites.
5. Liaise with various engineering departments.
Requirements
1. Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within mechanical engineering.
2. Experience selling Fluid power / Hydraulics such as hoses, fittings, valves, pumps, power units, valves, cylinders, and similar hydraulic / mechanical engineering products.
3. Experienced Hydraulic Engineers are highly encouraged to apply.
4. Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed, grow, and bring on new business within the Fluid Power marketplace.
5. Full clean driving license.
6. Willingness to operate remotely with travel to customer sites across the North East of the UK when required.
