Staff are reflective and committed to continually developing their own practice.
Our science results continue to be outstanding, with 82% of our students gaining 4+. Subject progress 8 scores have consistently been outstanding at +0.50 or better.
Science is taught across 12 full equipped and resourced labs, all with Smartboards, visualisers and exceptional technician support.
Students in Y7 and Y8 follow an ambitious two-year curriculum, where core knowledge and skills are learned and developed. At KS4, students follow the AQA Combined GCSE specification starting in the Autumn of Y9, focusing on the transferable skills required for success. In addition, a large number of students opt to study the AQA Triple Science specification.
