Salary: £29,333 per annum (pro rata) Hours: 0830-1630 (occasional evening and weekend work may be required) Benefits: Competitive pro rata salary Potential to earn up to £32,000 through Team Leader/Senior Leadership roles 33 days paid holiday with an increment of 2 additional days after 1 year of service School Term time off Full training provided Job Description: As a Military Mentor, you will play a crucial role in planning, delivering, and evaluating specially designed sessions as part of the TSOM Group Mentoring Programme. Your primary goal will be to instill respect, discipline, and confidence in young individuals, leading to their personal and academic achievements. Role Responsibilities: Independently plan and deliver bespoke sessions using provided training and equipment Foster professional relationships with vulnerable children and young adults, unlocking their potential Provide timely and accurate daily reports on session outcomes Facilitate and encourage participation in group activities Maintain effective communication with line managers in line with company procedures Adhere to all TSOM safeguarding policies Embody the values and standards of Her Majesty's Armed Forces Handle difficult situations with tact and composure Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in dynamic circumstances Display a strong desire for personal development Plan and implement fun, challenging, and effective sessions Provide enthusiasm, encouragement, and motivation to our students Uphold high professional standards Exhibit an above-and-beyond attitude to contribute to the further development of the company Essential Skills: Previous military experience Excellent communication skills A can-do attitude Mandatory: Valid driving licence, access to own vehicle, and ability to pass an enhanced DBS check If you believe you can make a significant difference by fostering respect, responsibility, and resilience in young people, we want to hear from you.
