Nottingham Trams are recruiting for a friendly, approachable and supportive person to join our HR department. This is a key role in the management and delivery of training to a diverse pool of workers.
The Role
This role carries a diverse set of responsibilities, including designing, enhancing, and managing training and development programs, delivering training both face-to-face and online, preparing training documents and materials, and maintaining the training budget.
Delivering the highest standards of training for our employees is critical to the success of the business, and the safety of our employees and customers. You will be a role model for professionalism, demonstrating fairness, respect, and inclusivity.
You will be working 40 hours per week, based in the depot. Working pattern will generally be office hours; however, flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the business.
What Are We Looking For?
1. Proven experience in the field of Learning and Development, particularly in training delivery, with a continuous focus on improving yourself and others.
2. Level 3 Award in Education and Training or willingness to work towards it.
3. Proficient in using learning management systems and e-learning platforms, MS Office suite, and other relevant software tools, with the ability to analyze data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of learning interventions.
4. Ability to manage relationships with apprenticeship providers and external training providers, and provide reports to management on the effectiveness of training programmes.
5. Strong background in the learning and development field, analytical skills to identify training needs and development gaps, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to quickly build strong working relationships.
