The Opportunity
As Sephora continues to expand its presence in the UK, we’re adding new talent to our Demand Planning team to keep our products available, meet customer demand, and drive sales growth. As a key member of this team, you’ll play an instrumental role in maximizing product availability and driving sales success across your categories. Under the guidance of the Demand Planner, you’ll support the team in identifying and resolving stock challenges, ensuring seamless inventory flow and availability. Through producing and analyzing essential data, you’ll help prioritize actions and provide valuable insights, collaborating closely with Category Management, Operations, and our suppliers to maintain effective stock flow across the business.
What You’ll Do
* Generate and share weekly reports on Open Purchase Orders, Availability, Order Fulfillment, and prioritization of Order Chasing.
* Support weekly replenishment orders using our forecasting tool and coordinate with our warehouse booking system for delivery tracking.
* Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely Purchase Order delivery and update systems accordingly.
* Maintain accurate records in SAP for store orders, and regularly update product statuses to ensure relevant products are on-site.
* Assist in creating Store Availability, Sales, and Stock tracking reports.
* Work with the forecasting tool to optimize stock levels, reviewing new, fast-moving, and slow-moving products.
* Investigate low-availability areas with guidance from the Line Manager, developing action plans to resolve issues.
* Partner with other departments—Category Management, Trading, Operations, Finance, and Store teams—to resolve stock-related issues.
* Engage suppliers to update our active product catalog and address low fulfillment on key products
