About the Opportunity: Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, this site-based position will develop and execute projects and tasks associated with our Field Solutions Portfolio at the Dounreay Site Facility. Experience in supervising site works and assessing safety documentation relative to site tasks are essential along with the execution of EC&I tasks in line with client requirements. Experience of working within nuclear establishments & following Nuclear Professionalism Standards & Expectations is required along with an overview understanding of CDM Regulations, legislative, regulatory, quality and environmental requirements relating to nuclear engineering projects.
Here's What You'll Need:
1. Engagement with the client to develop and define the scope via constructability reviews
2. Be visible in the workplace and lead by example demonstrating the standards set by the business, challenge all unacceptable behaviours, and ensure the contractors act in a professional manner
3. Support the preparation of construction deliverables documentation (RAMS - Work Packs)
4. Plan work activities and resources to meet task requirements safely and effectively
5. Supervise the on-site delivery of Electrical and Controls Tasks
Additional Requirements:
1. BPSS Clearance
2. Experience and understanding of the CDM Regulations 2015
3. HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or suitable site experience
