This is your chance to be part of an in-house Commercial Services team that propels Hilton's sales, revenue management, distribution, call center, and analytics functions! This role will support these areas which are at the core of Hilton's "commercial engine" and are important to Hilton's ability to achieve profitable growth. On the Global Distribution team reporting to the Manager, Distribution Optimization, you will support the execution of the global distribution strategy primarily in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Position Summary
As the Senior Analyst, Distribution Optimization, you will drive constant performance optimization, identify opportunities to increase channel and segment profitability, and activate channel levers to strategically move business across the distribution space within EMEA. You will also analyze data and design innovative solutions to stay ahead of the competition.
The position will support the day-to-day execution of various third-party channel programs and initiatives. The primary responsibilities include maintaining hotel support for centralized Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) channel marketing programs (via Hilton Elevate), generating and delivering hotel and enterprise reporting, and supporting regional hotel communications.
Your ability to identify actionable recommendations from data analysis is critical to improve our regional distribution efforts. You will utilize qualitative and quantitative data from internal and external sources to craft your guidance.
Your success in this role will depend on your understanding of the third-party distribution space, including evolving technologies and platforms. You will bring an analytical and detail-focused work ethic with a strong command of data capture techniques. You will also bring experience in autonomously managing projects, an enterprise mindset, a drive to innovate and a hunger to improve scalable business processes.
More specifically, you will:
1. Establish a reputation as a third-party channel expert, acting as a catalyst for best practice solutions via channel tools and resources.
2. Support data-driven problem solving and best practice solutions.
3. Assess and make recommendations on digital marketplaces, product mix and content to achieve hotel revenue goals.
4. Manage all regional hotel-level communication from team mailboxes, commercial requests and hotel intake forms to support Elevate campaign execution including regularly delivering budget guidance and other optimization tactics to hotels.
5. Communicate with Hilton and external stakeholders in the form of presentations and reporting to drive actionable recommendations.
6. Design hotel resources including performance scorecards, visual playbooks, online knowledge centers and cyclical email communications.
7. Partner with department teams including Commercial, Compliance and Operations to drive insights in the delivery of objectives.
8. Provide recommendations to improve third party distribution by identifying trends via self-service tools and engaging data analytics teams. You will oversee channel performance data at a granular and macro level.
9. Build, track and monitor channel and campaign-specific online marketing performance.
10. Identify and evaluate new distribution opportunities through researching and analyzing both internal and competitive intelligence.

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
1. BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree.
2. Two to three (2-3) years of related experience.
3. Skillful in performance metrics and analysis as it relates to hotel revenue distribution.
4. Experience with data visualization and project management.
5. Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
6. Able to travel 10% of the time.
