THE ROLE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be a vital piece in the company's long-term progression.
They will produce engineering designs, calculations and specifications autonomously.
Attend and participate in design team meetings.
The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will have exposure to dealing with the client.
They will undertake site visits to monitor the progress of works against specifications and highlight issues to the contractor.
The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will work alongside a tight-knitted team, ensuring the delivery of early-stage HVAC designs, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a budget.
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND
1. Bachelor's degree level or higher in a relevant discipline.
2. Proven technical competence and experience.
3. Ability to plan and programme own work and that of others.
4. Demonstrate commitment to supporting the professional development of less experienced staff, by effective mentoring and coaching.
5. No prior Data Centre experience required.
