We are offering a supported Return to Practice Programme for AHPs and HCS!
If you’re a qualified AHP or HCS looking to return to practice or have you previously been on the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) register and live in the Dorset areas, we want to hear from you!
We can offer a flexible programme of Return to Practice and are interested in hearing from both full and part-time applicants and are happy to discuss individual requirements.
We would love to hear from the following:
• Dietitians
• Occupational Therapists
• ODPs
• Orthoptists
• Physiotherapists
• Podiatrists
• Prosthetists or Orthotists
• Radiographers – Diagnostic and Therapeutic
• Speech and Language Therapists
What we offer
Our Return to Practice Programme, includes supervised placement practice, formal continued professional development, a competency portfolio and peer support to enable subsequent application for HCPC re-registration.
• Support throughout the programme and during recruitment process

• The opportunity to apply for registered roles within the trust on achievement of your HCPC registration.
To support you back, contracted hours can be agreed on an individual basis according to service needs and re-registration requirements.
Please note - this vacancy is for professions recognised by the HCPC and will be in the form of an Honorary Contract position. In some circumstances a fixed term contract as a support worker may be possible.
What we need from you
You will be required to:
• Register with the HEE Return to Practice Programme where HEE have funding available to support your Return to Practice.
• Complete Trust Induction
• Complete contracted hours
• Complete competency portfolio evidencing your updated skills and knowledge
• Promote the trust values throughout your contract.
