Behind the scenes is a complex infrastructure and support service that enables us to run a 24/7 lifesaving service consisting of 238 Lifeboat stations, lifeguard services, water safety education programmes, and fundraising across the UK and Ireland. We are recruiting a Senior IT Business Analyst who will work on strategically significant and complex programmes and projects to provide detailed analysis of IT business needs and requirements, delivering outcomes and benefits that enable us to become more effective and efficient in our primary goal of saving lives at sea. About the role The successful candidate will be responsible for Managing the IT&S Business Analyst (BA) practice in the successful delivery of strategic projects and IT&S portfolio Building and maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders and project teams Providing assurance that all business analysis artifacts are being considered throughout the project lifecycle and meet industry standards. About you We are looking for someone who is a good people manager, with the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and technical members of interdisciplinary teams, has excellent facilitation, interpersonal and presentation skills and is able to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a timely manner. Our ideal candidate will have: A Business Analysis qualification (ie BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis) or have completed a recent course focussing on business requirements definition (translating conceptual user requirements into functional requirements) Over 5 year’s experience of business analysis at the RNLI Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, modelling, verification, and methodology development, business process improvement. Experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of IT and business solutions, systems, and / or business products.
