Job Overview
Our client, a prominent player in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a Senior Project Coordinator for a contract role. This dynamic position involves coordinating major projects, utilising core project coordination skills to ensure seamless operation and timely delivery of objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and Support Workgroups: Collaborate with multiple workgroups to monitor, guide, and support their progress, ensuring tasks are completed on time and in alignment with the project plan. Proactively identify risks and offer solutions to maintain progress.
* Document and Tracker Management: Create, maintain, and manage project documents, trackers, and progress reports. Develop and implement a document control system to ensure all documents are easily accessible, properly versioned, and up-to-date.
* Facilitate Cross-Team Collaboration: Identify interdependencies between workgroups and ensure smooth collaboration and alignment of actions. Actively facilitate communication for efficient progress.
* Stakeholder Coordination: Manage communication with multiple internal and external stakeholders. Consolidate responses, create documentation, and ensure alignment with the project's objectives.
* Visualise Project Progress: Use visualisation tools (e.g., project tracking dashboards, Gantt charts) to communicate project status, key milestones, and risks. Regularly update and share visual reports with stakeholders.
* Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support, ensuring smooth processes for meetings, documentation management, and record-keeping. Coordinate actions and track outcomes accurately.
Job Requirements:
* Proven track record in successfully delivering deadline-driven, multi-disciplinary projects or programmes.
* Experience working across a mixture of technical and administrative teams, navigating the complexities of different areas of expertise.
* Strong understanding of process interdependencies, with a holistic approach to task allocation across different teams.
* Experience working in a multicultural environment and with external stakeholders, adapting communication and management styles accordingly.
* Strong ability to manage a variety of priorities, tasks, and workflows, ensuring milestones are met and stakeholders are kept informed.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
* Highly organised and efficient, with an ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a complex environment.
* Proficient in project tracking and visualisation tools (e.g., MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project) for clear presentation of project progress and status.
* Experience in document version control and management, ensuring all project documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
