Two posts – one at Kidlington and one at Taplow.
This is an exciting and unique opportunity to work within the Major Crime Unit at Thames Valley Police. You will be at the forefront of homicide and serious crime investigations, working as part of a dedicated team to help lock up dangerous offenders and achieve justice for the families of victims. You will be motivated, willing to learn and be able to work well as part of a team. As part of this role you will review material found on digital devices, making quick assessments with attention to detail. These devices will have been seized or voluntarily taken as part of Major Crime homicide investigations and the material found is likely to be highly relevant to the successful prosecution of offenders and meeting disclosure obligations.
A good standard of education is required with excellent literacy and numeric skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation.
Along with all other posts in Force Crime, Intelligence and Specialist Operations Departments, this role will require an enhanced level of vetting.
The successful applicant will be expected to undertake the established psychological screening process.
