Job Title: Contracts Manager

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple construction sites across Aberdeen. This role involves ensuring all projects are managed in line with internal processes, with a strong focus on health & safety, quality assurance, and budget management. You will be responsible for leading project teams, managing sub-contractors, and ensuring timely delivery of all projects while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee multiple construction projects, including programme progress, cost control, and labour management.
2. Supervise and guide Project Managers, Site Managers, and Engineers.
3. Liaise with design teams to ensure timely release of project information.
4. Implement and enforce health, safety, and welfare systems across all sites.
5. Develop and manage construction programmes, monitor site compliance, and liaise with public utilities and local authorities.
6. Monitor sub-contractors' performance, ensuring compliance with contracts, safety, and quality standards.
7. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all work is conducted safely and in line with regulations.
8. Manage maintenance and defect issues, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolutions.
9. Attend and lead various project meetings, manage project closeouts, and ensure all site admin is completed.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Essential:
1. CSCS Card
2. Valid Driver’s License
3. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with proven experience in construction management roles such as Contracts Manager, Project Manager, or Senior Site Manager.
4. At least 2 years of management experience in construction, with strategic planning and project oversight capabilities.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
6. Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
7. A valid right to work in the UK.

1. SMSTS
2. CSCS Manager’s card
3. Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field.
4. First Aid at Work certification
5. Risk Assessment & Method Statement qualifications
6. Power Project experience
