We are currently looking to recruit two Lead Mechanical Maintenance Technician roles within the Estate department. The Lead Mechanical Maintenance Technicians are vital roles to enhance the service provision in the estates team. Working with the M&E Manager for the delivery of Mechanical Services maintenance and leading a small team carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance, completing fault diagnosis, identifying issues, ordering spare parts and remedial works. The roles will also support the Key functions of the Estates department including: Capital Projects, Sustainability, Compliance & Facilities and the Estates Helpdesk providing advice and reviewing proposals. These are key roles within the Estates department that will interface with a number of teams and departments across the organisation and will be focused on building Estates excellence, delivering excellent service supporting the aims and objectives of the Estates department as a whole. Contract start date: Provisionally January 2025 Salary: £38,100 - £43,751 per annum, depending on skills and experience [Band D} Closing Date: 15/12/2024 You should be educated to City & Guilds/NVQ level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or alternatively have extensive knowledge/experience of building management & engineering. With significant experience with in a fast-paced environment working with PPM schedules & reactive maintenance, using CAFM systems to manage load, with regular interface with BMS systems. These roles will be engaged on an annualised hours contract working 4 days on 4 days off shift rota.
