Job Description: GCSE Maths Tutor
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated GCSE Maths tutor to support secondary school students in achieving academic success.
The ideal candidate can deliver one-to-one or small group sessions, either in person or online, tailored to various learner needs. This role is perfect for individuals with strong subject knowledge and a passion for helping young people build confidence and improve their mathematical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide engaging, curriculum-aligned tuition in GCSE Maths (all major exam boards).
2. Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles and abilities.
3. Support students with exam preparation, revision techniques, and problem-solving.
4. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Requirements:
* Strong understanding of the GCSE Maths curriculum.
* Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred.
* Patience and an encouraging approach to learning.
* Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
Rate of pay: £25–30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
