A little bit about the role...
Responsibilities:
* Provide a service to all clients, through taking orders for food and drinks.
* Manage payments via the till and ensure accurate payment is received.
* Coordinate, direct & prepare the prompt, efficient & courteous service of all food.
* Report low stock to the catering manager.
* Assist in supporting the catering manager for all conference events such as lunches and evening events as required.
* Ensure staff grooming, dress code & hygiene standards are met.
* Maintain excellent working relationships with all business center clients & personnel.
* Work with the Catering Manager in implementing new ideas, opportunities, dishes & promotions within the unit.
* Be fully conversant with the Food Safety Manual and standards & ensure all administration & data are recorded.
* Ensure COSHH is being carried out within the unit and control sanitation, cleanliness, waste control & hygiene.
* Operate within the guidelines set in the company handbook and ensure team adherence.
* Perform any other duties that commensurate with the post.
