Maintenance Manager
Our Client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead and manage maintenance operations within a cold storage warehouse environment. This role is pivotal to ensuring the seamless functioning of all mechanical and electrical systems in a demanding and fast-paced setting.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, extensive experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), and a track record of successfully managing teams in an industrial setting.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, oversee, and execute maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime.
* Lead a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
* Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules using CMMS systems.
* Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues within the warehouse.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety.
* Work collaboratively with other departments to support operational goals.
* Oversee procurement and inventory management for spare parts and maintenance supplies.
* Monitor performance metrics to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager in a similar industrial or warehouse environment.
* Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
* Experience with cold storage facilities is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in using CMMS systems for maintenance planning and tracking.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
