YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Intern will support engineering projects conducted within AVL. Predominantly this will be to support R&D activities but may include some support to experienced engineers in delivering commercial projects. The likely areas where the students will support projects may include:
• Modelling and simulation
• Software development
• Programming and scripting
• Support creation of documentation and databases
• Tool development and maintenance
YOUR PROFILE:
Essential:
• Currently studying or completed an engineering or computer science degree
• A strong interest in the technical areas supported by AVL
• Excellent communication skills
Preferable:
• Ability to solve technical problems with appropriate guidance
• Good at structuring and prioritising own work topics
• Interest and aptitude for programming, modelling and simulation
• Confident in discussing technical subjects with peers

Annual Remuneration: Due to UKVI compliance requirements, we are obligated to state the annual gross salary (full-time) for this position. The salary is £25,500 per annum (this will be prorata should the internship be less than 12 months).
