We are seeking an inspiring teacher to join our dedicated and supportive team here at The Desmond Anderson Primary Academy. We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to deliver high quality teaching to upper KS2 pupils, to nurture, inspire and motivate our children. You will have a sound understanding of the breadth of content covered across primary subjects combined with effective teaching, organisational and communication skills.
We require someone who:
* is capable of working with children in an enthusiastic and positive manner
* maintains high standards of learning and pupil progress
* is punctual and reliable
* has the desire to encourage every child to succeed

The Academy is also looking to offer Teaching and Learning Responsibilities (TLR2a) as a Phase Leader for KS2 for the right candidate.
The main aim of this additional responsibility is:
* To be responsible for the operational day-to-day running of KS2 (including key events) and ensure compliance to policy within the Key Stage
* To be the first point of contact for queries in relation to KS2
