TP Tutors are looking to recruit experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Tutors to support children within their own home/care homes. If you have QTS or have relevant experience with SEN pupils and are looking to work on a flexible basis, then this role may be for you It is TP Tutors aim to help assist pupils who are unable to attend mainstream schools because of their barriers to learning. We aim to help create an environment where children can access education, by supplying them with tutors tailored to their specific needs. Many pupils who need our help may have special and additional needs including SEMH difficulties, Autism, Attachment Disorder, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder and Specific Learning Difficulties. About the role: You will be working on a 1:1 with pupils who have SEN in their home/or care homes around Derbyshire, teaching KS1 and KS2 English and Maths. You will need to be confident working with pupils diagnosed with Autism. You will need to assess where the child is in their learning journey, and tailor a learning programme specific to their needs and academic goals. As a tutor you will need to build a relationship with the student to help tailor your approach to cater for their additional needs. You will need to track and log the pupils progress in our platform LEAP.
