Alexander Daniels are working with an established business based in Staffordshire to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a temporary basis. As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for the administration of the Purchase Ledger, Cash Book management and employee expenses. Daily duties: Cash book maintenance for all group bank accounts. Cash allocation in ERP system. Input into Group cash reporting. Bank reconciliations. Ledger reviewing, query solving, chasing approvals, and requesting invoices for DD Payments. Processing invoices. Ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and to terms. Statement reconciliations. Responsible for the timely payment of employee expenses. Production of Purchase orders. Essential requirements: 2 years experience within a similar role. Demonstrate good organisational skills, working both independently and part of a team. Work to meet strict deadlines, with accuracy and excellent attention to detail. Clear communication skills for dealing with suppliers and internal managers. Good understanding of Excel and best business practice. This business offers flexible working hours and requires you to be onsite 3 days per week (Tuesday - Thursday).
