An exciting opportunity is now available within South Glasgow to become part of the Primary care Pharmacy Team. We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to contribute to the delivery of the pharmacotherapy service offered within South Glasgow HSCP. As a key member of the Prescribing Team you will have an important role in promoting and implementing cost effective and evidence based prescribing from our hub as well as within specific GP practices.
This role will involve working with GPs and the primary care multidisciplinary teams to improve medicines management and deliver excellent patient care. The successful candidate will be working within the established pharmacy hub team. Registration to GPhC is required for this post. You will have relevant experience in a pharmacy setting with good communication skills, interpersonal skills and IT experience. Full training will be given to the successful candidate. As this post may require travel between bases a full driving licence is desirable for this post.
Minimum requirements: Pharmacy Technician, NVQ3 or BTEC in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Equivalent. Registrant with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
