The Role:
The College of Food at University College Birmingham is seeking an Operations Manager to join our innovative and ambitious team. The successful candidate will manage the day to day commercial, facilities, estates, and practical operations of the Department; will contribute towards the upkeep and maintenance of high standards in food hygiene, organisation, and operational delivery; and will support internal, external, and corporate engagement, as well as brand management and promotion.

The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the day:to:day practical operations of the College of Food, ensuring that all services are delivered efficiently, safely, and effectively. This is an innovative role requiring a proactive, strategic thinker with exceptional organisational and operational skills. The ideal candidate will be adept at problem:solving, process improvement, and fostering a positive working environment.
