Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a well-established engineering consultancy, specialising in Utilities, to help them recruit a CAD Technician for their site in West Yorkshire.
This organisation provides specialist services in design and drawing management, supporting the majority of the UK's power distribution and system operators. The role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to develop or apply their skills in a dynamic, evolving environment.
Candidates will gain experience in areas such as Document Control, Auditing, and Administrative Support. Regular UK travel is required, and overnight stays may be necessary depending on project demands. A company pool vehicle or fuel card will be provided, along with prepaid accommodation and meals for site work. A stay-away bonus is also available.
Key Objectives:
* Ensure accuracy and quality of technical drawings and documentation to meet client standards
* Produce site survey reports highlighting drawing conditions and status
* Align site records (Site Drawing Index) with on-the-ground realities
* Cross-reference contract drawing lists with received and existing documentation
* Identify and remove outdated or redundant drawings from filing systems
* Update drawings based on field mark-ups
* Develop and maintain filing systems on-site
