Job summary An exciting, 6 month secondment opportunity has arisen within the Oral Surgery and Unscheduled Dental Care Department at Birmingham Dental Hospital for Band 5 Senior Dental Nurse. The post holder has to be an experienced Dental Nurse who has excellent interpersonal, organisational and leadership skills and will work in close collaboration with the Dental Nurse Managers, Dental Matrons and Clinical Leads. The role will include responsibility for the management and development of the Dental Nurse Team to ensure smooth running of the service. Main duties of the job The post holder will support the clinical speciality to ensure the provision of a high standard of patient care and that all Trust policies and procedures are adhered to. This will include chairside activity as well as supporting the Dental Nurse Manager and other Senior Dental Nurses in the delivery of Dentistry training and development of the Service.
