Based in Colchester (CO4 5NE) we are seeking an analytical and diligent Finance Assistant to join our growing financial operations team on a 12-month fixed-term-contract basis (with a view to becoming permanent). Ideally you’ll have experience of reconciliations or sales ledger along with credit control knowledge or cash collection/chasing payments as in this role, you will: · Generate invoices, credit notes and reconciliations · Perform credit control duties · Provide support on premium and claims queries · Complete ad-hoc projects and audits · Accurately review and process high volumes of declarations · Resolve queries related to fluctuating declarations To excel in this role, you must have: · Excellent communication and analytical abilities · Strong organisational and time management skills · Good MS Excel skills and high attention to detail · Confidence working independently Insurance or Financial services experience is desirable, but not essential as full training will be given.
