Principal engineer – electrical engineering (power) (barrow-in-furness)

Salary: Competitive What you’ll be doing: Technical point of contact for other engineers and support with developing and mentoring other team members Ensuring the team operates efficiently and effectively in meeting project timelines and objectives Overseeing the planning, execution and monitoring of engineering Collaborating with multi-discipline teams, suppliers and stakeholders on matters related to the compatibility test facility Preparing technical reports, progress reports, and presentations, communicating results and advising recommendations Your skills and experiences: Essential: Degree qualified or equivalent experience in electrical or power engineering Knowledge of high power and medium voltage power systems and distributions Knowledge of compatibility testing of electrical equipment and power electronics Desirable: Project Management experience would be advantageous
