We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team in the hospitality sector. Responsibilities
* Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant.
* Supervise kitchen/front of house staff.
* Ensure presentation meets quality standards.
* Train and mentor new employees, fostering a positive work environment.
* Manage inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas.
* Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.
* Collaborate with the management team to implement new initiatives that enhance service quality.
Skills
* Proven leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams within a hospitality setting.
* Strong knowledge of food safety practices and daily running of a successful, organized, and controlled shift.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and customers.
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on customer service excellence.
* Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant environment is highly desirable.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
