Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a leading lettings agency in the recruitment of a Property Manager.
Based within the property management department, the role involves working in a fast-paced environment, managing your own portfolio of properties and acting as a point of contact, liaising with contractors, tenants and landlords on a daily basis.
Day to day key responsibilities include:
* Managing and instructing repairs and alterations at managed properties
* Managing renewals of the relevant safety certification
* Carrying out inspections and property management visits
* Liaising with tenants and landlords on a regular basis
* Carrying out the tenant check in/check out procedure, dealing with any issues and negotiating deposit returns etc
* Supervising quotations and processing of invoices and documentation onto software system
* Liaising with utility companies regarding changeover of tenants
* Some viewings to assist with the lettings team
The position would suit a pragmatic individual who has experience in a similar role in a property management environment or someone who has recently graduated from a property related course.
Requirements:
- Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet.
- Well presented, articulate with excellent communication skills.
- Confident and hard working "can do" attitude.
- Experience in a similar role preferred
- Good knowledge of Lettings Regulations
- Able to work to tight deadlines and in a busy environment.

Hours are Monday to Friday 9.00 - 5.00 pm. You will be required to work some Saturdays (from 10am - 2pm only) on a generous rota basis
- Salary £23,000 - £26,000 depending on experience, plus pension and benefits
