* At Anchanto, we know that one of the keys to growth is a high-performing business development and sales team. That’s why we’re seeking a skilled Sr. Business Developer to acquire and manage new client relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B SaaS ecommerce product sales, as well as skills related to strategic analysis and marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for developing relationships with our clients, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
* As a Sales executive for Anchanto’s products (OMS and WMS) focused on the Enterprise segment, you will have the exciting opportunity to help promote growth and shape the future of SaaS products for eCommerce players in the Retail and Logistics sector. We will rely on you to partner with our sales and marketing department to conduct market research and develop a strategic business development plan.
* This role will report directly to Anchanto’s Country Head in the United Kingdom.
Job Responsibilities:
* Direct software sales to enterprises (Brand Principals, Distributors, 3PLs, Warehousing Companies, E-distributors, Retailers) to build a strong B2B SaaS business in the United Kingdom.
* Business Development: Identify target clients (B2B and D2C brands and enterprises, 3PLs), make a value proposition, and convert them into Anchanto customers.
* Business Planning: Develop a comprehensive business plan strategy to acquire these clients in a time-bound manner. Preparing a comprehensive client acquisition plan will be key to your success.
* Solution Designing: Create a financially viable solution for these target clients. This will require understanding the clients' existing supply chain, operations, growth opportunities, and challenges in their current system.
* Deal Closure: Engage with clients in multiple rounds of negotiation and drive the deal to closure. Maintaining a high conversion ratio of deals closed/client in the pipeline will be an important performance metric.
* Quota Oriented: This role holds sales targets to achieve, if not beat, during the year. You are expected to be target-driven and disciplined in managing the sales pipeline in the CRM to plan your sales goals.
Required Skills:
* Demonstrated achievement in B2B sales; ecommerce domain experience is highly desired.
* Experience with 3PLs, Warehousing and Fulfilment Centres, E-commerce Sellers, Brands, and Retailers in the United Kingdom is an added advantage.
Manage Sales Cycle:
* Lead generation for a funnel pipeline: Manage the entire sales cycle as an individual contributor, including steps such as cold calling, LinkedIn emails, and personal networking to achieve sales targets.
* Understand customers' current business and operational processes to propose the right fit of SaaS products, addressing customer pain points.
* Demo high-level Product/Solution: Product introduction SaaS platform demonstration, explaining technical and functional capabilities.
* Contract Closure: Follow-up calls, sales updates sharing, proposal, pricing negotiation, contract signing, onboarding, and account handover to global account management teams.
* Structured and organized to manage and update the CRM tool for effective sales pipeline management.
Business and Commercial Skills:
* Possess the technical ability to explain (not implement) Cloud/SaaS Solutions, Integrations, Retail, Omni-channel and eCommerce Fulfilment flows, and 3PL logistics and operations flows.
* Create & articulate compelling value propositions around Anchanto Solutions.
* Understanding of Value Based Selling and translating it into Commercial Agreements.
* Work closely with the internal marketing team, PR team, and top management to swiftly pick up leads/enquiries to be put in sales processes.
Other Skills:
* Ability to work with a global team across different geographies, cultures, and time zones.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations and IT fluency.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
* Understanding of the ecommerce and logistics industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job.
* Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose solutions for clients.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
* Proactive in sourcing leads from partners, own research, and other channels.
* Work with marketing on lead and funnel quality and realign to target relevant segments.
* Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends for our products' target segments.
* Keep track of competition, pricing, and promotions being offered by competitors in the market.
* Work with partners (referrers, SIs, consultants, government agencies, etc.) to extend reach and drive adoption.
