We are looking for a Cluster Charity Manager to join our Cash for Kids Team on a full-time permanent basis.
We are looking for an ambitious self-starter who can communicate with people at all levels and is a great administrator. You will be required to establish relationships with all key stakeholders both internally and externally. You should have excellent sales and presentation skills. The ideal candidate will have extensive local corporate contacts and be able to demonstrate how these relationships will be beneficial.
Reporting to the Regional Charity Director you will be working in the lively and stimulating atmosphere of a radio station, although Hybrid working is still in operation, and is encouraged.
Networking will be a major part of this role in order to recruit companies to adopt Cash for Kids in the East Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, & Yorkshire Coast areas. Strong presentation skills are essential and must be demonstrated.
A clean UK driving license is essential and must be proved, we will also require a DBS check to be carried out upon commencement of role. Candidates must reside within the transmission area and have strong corporate connections in these areas.
Our Team:
Cash for Kids is the umbrella brand for 22 local children’s charities in the UK. Owned by Bauer Media, we are aligned to the Bauer Radio local radio stations and raise funds to grant to under 18’s who are sick, disabled or underprivileged.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Strategic direction, planning, and daily management of the charity.
2. Achieve fundraising targets through high-profile campaigns and events.
3. Encourage corporates, schools, and businesses to create fundraising events.
4. Research and develop new fundraising opportunities and maintain current relationships.
5. Assess fundraising activities and propose strategies for their management.
6. Create and implement PR plans for the charity.
7. Recruit, manage, and maintain a volunteer/street team base.
8. Build and maintain long-term fundraising relationships with corporates and donors.

11. Proven track record in a sales/corporate environment.
12. Project management skills and ability to collaborate with key stakeholders.
13. Have flexibility to work evenings/weekends when required
14. Ability to prioritise work for maximum impact on cash growth.
15. Ability to work on own initiative and be flexible with work hours.
16. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and presentation systems.
17. Solid knowledge of social media networking tools and their effective use.
18. Experience of charity fundraising, events, or marketing/PR is advantageous
