Day to Day of the Role:
* Manage and oversee the financial systems, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
* Prepare financial reports, budgets, and statements for internal and external stakeholders.
* Collaborate with various departments to provide financial guidance and support.
* Implement and improve financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
* Monitor and manage expenditure, ensuring value for money in school operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* A relevant degree and professional accounting qualification (AAT/CIMA/ACCA) or the willingness to work towards it.
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a finance role, within the education sector.
* Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting practices.
* Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
