A leading London Interior Design studio is seeking a highly skilled Senior Interior Architect with FF&E experience to lead high-profile hospitality, commercial, and residential projects. This role calls for an all-around designer who combines creative vision with technical expertise and has a proven track record of delivering projects from concept through to site installation. Key Responsibilities include: Creative Direction & Concept Development: Lead the creative direction, developing and translating initial ideas into cohesive design concepts and palettes. Prepare and present schemes, including all finishes, fabrics, and accessories, ensuring alignment with client vision and project goals. Project & Team Management: Manage small to mid-sized projects independently or lead teams on large-scale projects, overseeing design development and site execution. Support the FF&E team, coordinate project control samples, and ensure accuracy across all documentation and deliverables. Design & Specification: Develop detailed layout and general arrangement plans, bespoke furniture designs, and sample boards. Produce accurate specifications and spec books, ensuring that FF&E documentation is consistently coordinated across design packages. Procurement & Fabrication Oversight: Oversee sourcing, selection, and production of FF&E for hospitality, restaurant, and high-end residential projects. Collaborate with procurement agents to value-engineer FF&E selections, review shop drawings, and ensure quality standards in fabrication and construction. Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for FF&E matters, liaising with clients, consultants, and vendors. Coordinate site meetings as necessary, ensuring all FF&E aspects are aligned with client expectations. Be available for international travel to support project presentations and site assistance as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years in hospitality, restaurant, or high-end residential design. Proven experience with international operators and strong knowledge of hotel brands and the supplier industry. At least 3 years leading project teams. A degree in Architecture is a plus. Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Spec Sources, and Spec Designer. Strong understanding of fabrication, joinery, and buildability, with a keen eye for architectural and FF&E details. Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team. Excellent communication skills in English are essential. Familiarity with both traditional and contemporary styles, a strong aesthetic sense, and extensive knowledge of interior materials, furnishings, and accessories. A proactive, confident, and inquisitive approach with a positive attitude toward teamwork. This role is urgent to fill and interviews will be taking place in the next couple of weeks.
