Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one or small group tutoring sessions in Science subjects
* Adapt teaching methods and materials to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Create individualised learning plans for students with SEN
* Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Minimum Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a Science-related field
* Demonstrated experience in tutoring or teaching Science subjects
* Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
Desired Skills
* Strong understanding of Science curriculum
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with SEN
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience and empathy when working with students
Additional Qualifications
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Experience using assistive technology in teaching
Working Conditions
* Part-time hours, flexible schedule
* Work primarily in educational settings such as schools or learning centres
* May involve travel to different locations within South East England

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
