To work on a variety of installations (Thermoking and Frigoblock) in the workshop facility and on customer sites and in turn adhering to Internal Health and Safety policies and safe working practices. To liaise with the co-ordinator/s / Admin ensuring all installation information is fully handed over for the job creations.
Responsibilities:
* To carry out installations to the highest quality & in accordance to Thermo King guidelines.
* To ensure daily communication to the co-ordinator/s so they are aware of all WIP that are in progress on site/s.
* Being mindful of ISO9002 standards at all times and health and safety considerations and requirements. To ensure the quality of the build is kept to a high standard and to review any subsequent failures that may arise.
* Look into development requests from customers and evaluate if their requirements are possible or find alternative solutions with Engineering Manager.
* To ensure all OEM type approvals and instructions are being adhered to.
* Identify & evaluate what parts would be needed for jobs and ensure all necessary parts and ancillaries are arranged prior to commencing jobs.
* When working on various sites, communicate any potential problems/concerns to Co-Ordinator/s and/or Engineering Manager.
* Communication with Installation Administrator/s prior to commencing & completion of location/workshop workloads.
* To be of smart & professional appearance especially when customer facing.
Qualifications:
Education:
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with at least 3 grade C’s or above.
Experience:
* Good working knowledge of the installation process.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in, and detailed knowledge of vehicle/self powered fridge installation or similar area.
* Proven track record of delivering quality.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
* The ability to build relationships with colleagues at all levels.
* To be able to plan and prioritize your own work and other people's.
ADDITIONAL LOCAL NEEDS:
* Must hold a valid full UK driving license.
* Have flexibility to be able to work away from home on a regular basis.
