We’re looking for a Legacy Administration Supervisor to join our Legacies team. Some of the benefits £28,334 - £31,000 (dependent on experience) Flexible working 26 days’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays Outstanding pension scheme (contributions of up to 16% of basic salary) Life assurance Health and dental cashplan Your role As a Legacy Administration Supervisor, you will be tasked with focus on the following areas: Analysing, processing and posting data in an accurate and timely manner onto the FirstClass legacy management system Handling and posting sensitive personal data relating to supporters, their families and others Supervising and ensuring the smooth running of a small team of Administration Assistants Ensuring that administration and support procedures are regularly reviewed and amended where necessary Ensuring that all data entered is compliant with GDPR and any other appropriate legislation Scanning all incoming mail and documents onto the correct file on FirstClass, our legacy administration system, accurately and in a timely manner Obtaining copies of Wills and other essential documents from Probate Registries or other Government departments Ensuring the payment of invoices and receipts for payments received Supervising general administrative tasks such as distributing post, filing and photocopying Providing administrative support for the team and the team managers through such tasks as room bookings, arranging meetings and the like Processing and allocating legacy income received Manage a small caseload of pecuniary cases and liaise with Legacy Officers from other charities where we share an interest in an estate as and when required Maintain a good up to date knowledge of practice and processes relating to the administration of pecuniary charitable legacies This role supports the rest of the Legacies team, the case handlers and managers and is vital to ensuring the workflow of the department. Attention to detail and accuracy is of paramount importance in recording our benefactor’s details on First Class, our legacy administration system. The ability to effectively manage people and prioritise workload is essential.
