Your role and responsibilities
Day to day tasks may include:
- diary and mailbox management for Children and Young People (CYP) Assistant Directors/Service Directors
- responding to requests for information and ensuring these are processed within specified timescales
- co-ordination of key meetings
- project support across a range of projects that are focused on improving the lives of children and young people.
You will need to:
- have demonstrable experience of carrying out a range of administrative/ secretarial procedures and tasks
- be highly organised and able to prioritise tasks to ensure deadlines are met
- have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft packages, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
- collaborate well with others and be flexible in your approach to meet the demands of the post and team

The Team
This small but vital team plays a critical role in the effective day-to-day running of the Children and Young People (CYP) Services executive, including its Leadership Team, Cabinet Members, and Heads of Service. The team consists of Executive Assistants, Personal Assistants, Business Support Coordinators, and Officers. They work closely with the CYP Information Governance Hub and wider CYP Business Support teams
